Geo Bay 2024 – Solo edition

Spectacular conditions at the 2024 Geo Bay Swim made for fast times and a high completion rate across solos, duos and teams. The quality of the results becomes evident when compared to last year’s swim:

The 2023 edition of the Geo Bay Swim was widely regarded as one of the toughest swims of the year. Of the 29 swimmers who started, only 19 made it to the finish line, meaning just 65% of participants completed the race.

The average finish time this year was 1 hour and 20 minutes faster than last year’s, highlighting the increased difficulty of the 2023 race.

Ten soloists competed in both years, and every one of them improved their time compared to the previous year.

Overall, 37 of the 47 swimmers who started the race successfully finished, resulting in a completion rate of 78.7%.
